Looking after fetal-heart-care.de
Not every site I look after is one I built.

This website is not mine. At some point I took over maintenance, updates and backups — and while I was at it, tidied up what needed tidying: retrofitted a cookie banner, brought the site in line with data protection law, straightened out the server configuration.
This is the unspectacular side of my work, but it is what keeps projects alive. A site that is not looked after regularly is a security risk after two years and a liability problem after four — especially in the medical field, where patient data and data protection are not a side issue.
Taking over someone else’s site is not an exception for me. For several clients I look after sites that others built. It is unspectacular, but it is often the beginning of a longer collaboration: here it later led to the rebuild of praenatalkoeln.com.
