The private practice by the Stadtwald on Meister-Johann-Straße is a gynaecology practice focused on pregnancy medicine, modern prenatal diagnostics, fertility treatment and preventive care. It is certified for first-trimester screening and can therefore offer the full spectrum of prenatal diagnostics.

It started with an existing website that had aged. The first job was to modernise it. It quickly became clear that patching would not be enough: the structure no longer carried the practice. So I redesigned and rebuilt it.

The real work was in the structure. Someone arriving with an abnormal finding in pregnancy is looking for something completely different from someone coming for an annual check-up, or a couple hoping to conceive. Three concerns, three states of mind, one practice. Each focus therefore has its own page, and the team is introduced individually — with a face and a role, because in medicine you want to know who is sitting opposite you. The copy came from the practice. That was an advantage: the medical wording was all there already, and my job was to give it the right order and the right place.

My contact at the beginning was Dr. med. Margit Oepen. It is now a joint practice of Dr. Oepen and Dr. Rebekka Welter — and the website has been named accordingly ever since.

The website turned into an ongoing collaboration. What came afterwards is listed here as separate projects: the print material, the video production, the social media work. The team is the reason for that — with people who join in this openly, one job turns into more all by itself.
