Video production for Praxis Oepen Welter
Putting doctors and midwives in front of a camera is half the work. The other half is taking away their fear of it.

An ongoing series of films for the practice, shot on site and edited in Premiere and After Effects. It includes the team introduction films, in which every doctor, every midwife and every staff member introduces herself, a series on medical myths — nausea in pregnancy, breastfeeding and conception, weight — the mission-statement film, and occasions such as International Day of the Midwife, Mother’s Day, Christmas and the opening of the new practice.
Everything in portrait format, because the films run where the people are. With subtitles, because social video is watched without sound. And with lower thirds showing name and role — with medical staff that is not decoration, it is the decisive piece of information.
The most important part happens before the edit: most people are uneasy in front of a camera, and medical staff are no exception. A team only goes along with something like this if the setting is right. That it has grown into a whole media library by now is down to the team.
