Beauty First Köln website
A beauty studio that does not hide behind wellness vocabulary.

Beautyfirst runs beauty studios in Cologne and Meerbusch. The treatments use equipment you would sooner expect in a medical practice — a medical laser system for hair removal, needle epilation, needling, diamond microdermabrasion.
That was precisely the design question. Beauty studios online almost all look the same: soft photography, a swash typeface, plenty of beige. That suits wellness, but not a studio whose argument is its technology and the training of its team.
So the site goes the other way: hard colour fields in pink and black, headlines in capitals across half the width, clean edges instead of gradients. The result reads more like a brand than a salon — and it carries the tone the client uses anyway: informal, first-name terms.
The structure follows what people want to know before a treatment. The services are explained individually rather than listed, each with the method behind it — what happens to the skin, how many sessions it takes. The prices are stated openly, which is far from standard in this industry. A gallery shows the rooms, and the free initial consultation is one click away from every page.
Built on WordPress with a custom template so the team can maintain services and prices themselves. I continue to look after the site — updates, backups, data protection. The logo is not mine — I only vectorised it for use on the site.

Anton for the large lettering, Sofia Sans Condensed for subheadings, Roboto for the text. Anton at 448 pixels is no accident: the site is meant to be loud, not delicate.
