Marc Staudinger website
A presenter does not sell a service, he sells himself. The site had to carry that.

Marc Staudinger hosts trade fairs, congresses, galas, fashion shows, weddings and sports events. On his site there is a line by Somerset Maugham about originality — and right below it a remarkably plain passage about what his fee is made up of: research into the client and the subject, the briefing, and writing or editing the presenting scripts so that they fit his own way of speaking.
That honesty was the key to the design. A presenter who lays out what happens before the performance does not need a site full of effects. He needs one that shows him and lets him speak: a series of pictures, a selection of references, a clear description of what he does.
Concept, design and build are mine, as is the logo. The site of the event agency 32G, which is listed here as its own project, ran through the same company.

Typeface
Cairo in nine sizes, from 10 to 64 pixels — one typeface for headings, reference lists and body text. On a page that mostly shows text, the size scale is the actual design.
